We are officially open for business!!!!
We did it guys, we are open, and what a whirlwind it has been.
With the 24 hours before we opened resembling The Block before a room reveal, it was all hands on deck as we raced to the finish line. We had a full house on opening night, actually we had a full house across the opening weekend. From the restaurant to the cellar door, people were lining up to taste the food and wine, by Saturday afternoon word had gotten around about our Limoncello and it’s been walking out the door since.
Our fan favourite dishes have been Bob’s Ragu, which is owner Bob Franchitto’s historic family recipe, the quattro formaggio (four cheese) pizza with truffle oil which is decadent as it is delicious and the winner by far is the traditional Espresso Tiramisu which is big enough to share, but we understand if you don’t want to.
At the end of each dining experience you’re treated to a taste, or re-taste, of our house made limoncello as is customary in the south of Italy. It’s the perfect way to finish your meal and give you that warm feeling inside.
If you’ve checked out our social media pages then you would be well aware of the 12 days of Christmas cocktails we have been doing over the weekends. From Mrs Claus and Jack Frost’s to Gingerbread Man and Apple Pie, we’ve had a cocktail to suit all taste buds.
