Once again we tasted so many amazing wines, what a lucky state we live in!!

Another amazing year at the Cellar Door Fest, filled with some of our favourite organic wines and crowd favourite alternate variety Vermentino. The last 12 months have been filed with demand for our organic wines not only in Australia but globally! People are loving these wines for all the added health benefits (lower sulphurs and no chemicals) but mainly because they taste delicious.

We even had our flagship BFR available for tasting for the first time at a consumer show. For those that don’t know what our BFR is it is only made in select years when we have fruit of a high enough quality. Our current vintage is 2016 which is a blend of Touriga, Cabernet and Lagrein. What does BFR stand for? Well this depends on who you ask, those on the inside know the truth. Bob Franchitto’s Red, Big Friendly Red and Bob’s Favourite Red are all friendly adaptations but once you’ve tried it you know that is a... BIG F@#%ING RED!

We were super proud to show this wine off and got some great feedback from people who have been waiting to try this wine (we don’t even have it for tasting at the winery).
